Genetic Diversity and Relationships of Terebinth (Pistacia terebinthus L.) Genotypes Growing Wild in Turkey

چکیده
Genetic diversity and relationships of 54 wild-grown terebinths (Pistacia terebinthus L.) were determined using 40 SSR (simple sequence repeat) markers (38 in silico polymorphic 2 markers). In analysis, 430 alleles identified. The number per locus ranged from 3 to 25 with a mean value 11 locus. values polymorphism information content (PIC) 0.34 (CUPOhBa4344) 0.91 (CUPSiBa4072) PIC 0.68. distances estimated according the UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method Arithmetic Average), Structure, Principal Coordinates (PCoA) based clustering. structure analysis clustering genotypes depicted two major clusters. PCoA results supported cluster results. dendrogram revealed Forty-two samples obtained Kazankaya canyon 12 Karanlıkdere region. regions are 130 km apart each other but dendrogram, we did not find geographical isolation. proved efficiency SSRs for genetic terebinth. Based on results, can be applied as trustworthy tool evaluation terebinth genotypes. Molecular this study will promote germplasm collection selection populations future studies mapping, diversity, characterization, rootstock breeding.

in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Genetic diversity and relationships among traits in potato genotypes using agronomic traits and molecular marker (SSR).
The molecular marker (SSR) has been used to investigate the markers associated with the agronomic traits including days to 50% flowering, tube ring time, days to maturity, plant height, the number of main stems per plant, the number of tubers per plant, dry matter content, main stem diameter, a single tuber weight, average single tuber weight, and the total yield in potato genotypes. Ten primer...
متن کاملDiversity and Relationships of Yield and Quality Traits in Cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) Genotypes
Cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) is an important cool season grass species in the moderate climate of Iran. In order to evaluate the yield and quality traits, an experiment was conducted in irrigation conditions using 36 accessions of Dactylis glomerata using a randomized complete block design with three replications in Islamabad, Kermanshah province, Iran in 2010. Characters such as forage dr...
متن کاملInvestigation of Genetic Diversity and Relationships Among Agronomic Traits of Some Flax Genotypes
Extended Abstract Introduction and Objective: Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) from the Linum genus and Linaceae family is one of the oldest oil products in the world. A natural population with sufficient genetic diversity is necessary to select the desired phenotypic traits, so the study of genetic diversity and the correct selection of essential tools is the main breed of plant. Agriculture fac...
متن کاملGenetic relationships among wild pomegranate (Punica granatum) genotypes from Coruh Valley in Turkey.
The pomegranate has been used traditionally in Coruh Valley in Turkey for a long time; fruits are harvested from wild, semi-domesticated and cultivated trees. In the valley, it occurs in general along with olive trees. We sampled 23 wild-grown pomegranate genotypes sampled from different parts of Coruh Valley and compared them using RAPD primers to determine genetic variability. Eighty-six RAPD...
